This course is planned to meet the need of general and special
supervisors in the field of elementary education. Three semester
hours.
EDUCATION 311. (Formerly 212.) ADVANCED METHODS IN THE
SECONDARY SCHOOL. A more advanced and intensive study will be
made of the art of teaching in this course. It is designed for students
who are especially interested in the study of secondary
school methods. This course is required of all students majoring
in secondary education. Three semester hours.
EDUCATION 312. (Formerly 221.) SUPERVISION IN THE SECONDARY
SCHOOL. This is a course dealing with the more recent aims,
procedures, and applications of the whole program of supervision
of instruction in the high school, with the idea of creating a better

teaching and administration of the Junior High School. Three

teach in secondary schools, or do religious education work. It represents
a study of applied psychology, dealing with the pupil
through the adolescent age. This course is required of all students
majoring in secondary education. Three semester hours.

EDUCATION 321. (Formerly 223.) THE ADNMINISTRATION OF
PUPIL PERSONNEL. This course deals with problems of attendance,
pupil-personnel records, reports, and school marks. Three semester
