Eco. 201. (Formerly 101.) ECONOMIC PRINCIPLES. A brief
survey of the field of modern economics is made with special
emphasis on the principles of production, exchange, distribution
and consumption. Credit: Three semester hours.
Eco. 202. (Formerly 101.) ECONOMIC PROBLEMS. A study of
money and banking, insurance, tariff and taxation, agriculture and
labor problems, transportation, and government control of industry
is made. All problems are studied with special reference to
American conditions. Credit: Three semester hours.
Eco. 301. (Formerly 201.) MONEY AND BANKING. A general
analysis of monetary standards and concepts; brief survey of the
federal reserve banking system. Prerequisite: Eco. 202. Credit:
Three semester hours.
Eco. 302. (Formerly 207.) MARKETING. A study is made of
modern methods of marketing. Prerequisite: Eco. 202. Credit:
Three semester hours.
Eco. 303. PUBLIC FINANCE. A general treatment of government
expenditures, revenues, debts, and financial administration.

Eco. 304. LABOR PROBLEMS. The place of trade unions in
