THS Graduation
Set For June 1
Supt W V Swlnburn has announced
that junior high school
graduation exercises have been
changed to May 31 and high school
graduation will be June 1
He said that some misunderstand
ing had resulted from the fact that
some schools have been permitted
by the Texas Education Agency to
maintain their original graduation
dates
The agency ruled that schools
must teach 175 days provided this
can be done by June 1 In cases
where schools cannot complete 175
days by June 1 they are not required
to run over into June to
make up time lost due to bad weather
Since Tulia can complete 175
days before June 1 it Is required
to do so
