When it comes to the purchase of Boys Clothes

ing all thequalities known to skilled ciothes makers
Every garment bearing the label is doubly guaranteed and is sold with the
understanding that any sensible fault which may be found will be immediately
and satisfactorily corrected
It is well worth while to confine your boya clothes purchaseato such gar-
ments as these upon which such a guarantee is given it would be the height of
folly for us to give you such assurances as these unlesB we knew positively that
the clotheB were good enough to deserve it

THE WATER WOBKS
The Jimplecute last wiyk sug-
gested that the city council should
make no mistake in putting tho
proper kind of pumping station
and Btand pipe It is suggested
that should tho council adopt tho
artesian water that the waterworks
would pay from the start It is
nothing but proper that when it
can bo done that every city should
have the purest of water There
is no question about the jualUy of
the artesion water here a six inch
well would supply all require-
ments We venture the assertion
that the artesian water used by the
people cost something near 50
per month The people nreVac
customed to it now for drinkfng
water while for co okirigi purposes
it is unequaled only test it to be
convincod An eminent physician
of our city asserts that for every
family in theeity toi use artesian
water doctors bills wouldvbe ro
duced from 35 to 50 per cent
Again the water isjus aagood for
fire purposes aB the baypu water
By using artesian water it will be
only a short while before the peo-
ple will be asking for an extension
of the works throughouttho pity
The cost saved in properly clean-
ing wells will nearly pay the water
tax The convenience Detection
and good health will be tforth more
than can possibly be charged for
the water Should the Council ar-
bitrarily use the Bayouwater few
families will be willingto use it
As previously stated the demand
for the water if artesjan by the
families will increaseas rapidly aB
the demand for the telephone if
not more so The money spent in-
putting down a well would be the
very best investment theeity could
make It would not only give the
necessary protection aguiust fires
but give health to the citizens The
Jimplecute again suggestsithatno
mistake should be made in putting
in the waterworks either as to
capacity of pumping stations and
stand pipe and quality of water
