Meet Tuesday In
Blaschke Home
Mrs. Ethel Blaschke was
hostess to the Women of the
Presbyterian Church when
they met at her home Tuesday
night for their regular month-
ly meeting.
Miss Norma Beckman chair-
man presided at the meeting
which opened with the Lord's
Prayer.
Mrs. Jamea Bailey acting
secretary in the absence of
Mrs. Erwin Raeke reported
25 cards and 7 visits for tjie
month. The treasurer's report
was given by Miss Cora Beck-
man. It was announced that the
May birthday meeting will be
held in the home of Mrs. James
Bailey.
Workbook8 were completed
during the evening and plans
were made to resume making
cup towels for the Orphans
Home.
The program entitled "Sal-
vation" from Romans 1:1.6-17
was discussed by Miss Cora
Beckman the program leader.
Refreshments were served
to Mesdamoa Pat Myers James
Bailey Nell Knight E. E. Lin-
demann Alfred Wackcr Miss-
es Norma and Cora Beckman
and the hostess Mrs. Blaschke.
Mr. Margarito Perez and Mr.
Rose Luna visited their brother-in-law
Fred Cortcz Jr. and fam-
ily of Dallas.
Sunday visitors of Mr. and
Mrs. Ben Janke were Mr. and
Mrs. Paul Balusek of Holland.
Mr. and Mrs. Roy Rogers and
children of Victoria visited
friends here during the weekend.
Mrs. Dick Nauert and sons of
Austin spent the week-end with
Mr. and Mrs. M. A. Bird and Mr.
and Mrs. Ed Nauert.
Mrs. Ruby Lindemann of Se-
guin spent the Easter holidays
here with her daughter and
