BIBLE 302 (Formerly 207). THE MINISTRY. This is a study of
the pastor and his work, of the evangelist, and other activities of
a God-called preacher. Some study will be given to sermon preparation.
Three semester hours.
BIBLE 303 (Formerly 203). CHRISTIAN DOCTRINES. This is a
brief study of many of the great doctrines of the Bible, with special
attention given to Baptist doctrines. Three semester hours.
BIBLE 304 (Formerly 204). MISSIONS. This is a Bible study of
missions, and of Christian missions since the apostolic era, and of
Baptist missionary work. Three semester hours.
BIBLE 305 (Formerly 210). THE HEBREW PROPHETS. This is a
study of the Old Testament Prophets showing how they became
the religious and national leaders of the Hebrew people. A study
of the lives of some of the prophets and of the Old Testament
writings of all, will be made. Three semester hours.
BIBLE 306 (Formerly 209). THE GENERAL EPISTLES AND
REVELATION. This course is a thorough study of the General
Epistles and the Revelation. Three semester hours.
BIBLE 307 (Formerly 211). THE EPISTLE TO THE HEBREWS.
An intensive study of this epistle. Three semester hours.
BIBLE 308 (Formerly 212). THE EPISTLE TO THE ROMANS. An
intensive study of this epistle. Three semester hours.
BIBLE 401 (Formerly 201). PHILOSOPHY OF RELIGION. This
course shows forth true Christianity, by its evidences, in the light
of philosophies and science. Three semester hours.
BIBLE 402 (Formerly 202). CHRISTIAN FUNDAMENTALS. A
study of the fundamental teachings of evangelical or conservative
Christianity. It attempts to answer the question: "What is true
Christianity?" Three semester hours.
BIBLE 403 (Formerly 205). OLD TESTAMENT ARCHAELOGY.
This is a study in oriental discoveries so far as they confirm the
accuracy of the Old Testament. Lantern slides and pictures of
archaeological finds will be shown and studied. Three semester
hours.
BIBLE 404. NEW TESTAMENT ARCHAELOGY. This course will
cover archaeological finds as related to the New Testament.
