Three semester hours.
PSYCHOLOGY 304. (Formerly 202.) SOCIAL PSYCHOLOGY. Such
general problems as the individual basis of social phenomena, the
determination of cultural values, and the psychology of the fundamental
social values are included in this course. Three semester
hours.
PSYCHOLOGY 401. (Formerly 203.) MENTAL HYGIENE. This
course deals with conditions and procedures in the school and
home which are conducive to the development of mental and
emotional health and the growth of a normal personality. Three
semester hours.
PSYCHOLOGY 402. (Formerly 204.) INDUSTRIAL PSYCHOLOGY.
This course attempts to apply psychology to the fields of industrial
and business life, including such topics as employment, vocational
training and guidance, personnel management, advertising,
and salesmanship. Three semester hours.
PSYCHOLOGY 403. (Formerly 205.) HISTORY OF PSYCHOLOGY.
A short intensive study will be made of the earlier history of psychology,
followed by a more extensive analysis of the modern
schools of psychological thought. Three semester hours.

ENGLISH 101, 102. INTRODUCTORY COLLEGE ENGLISH. This six
semester hour course includes the study of the English language
for the purpose of securing correct oral and written expressions
along with a detailed examination of the forms of expression as
used by the best writers. Much outside reading along with frequent
themes and quizzes make this course a practical one. Required
of all freshmen.
ENGLISH 201, 202. (Formerly 103, 104.) HISTORY OF ENGLISH
LITERATURE. This is a six semester hour course designed for sophomores.
