ST. THOMAS MORE
CLUB ENTERTAINS
On the twenty-seventh of July,
the St. Thomas More Club in co-
operation with Phi Delta Phi,
Delta Theta Phi, and the Barrist-
ers Club sponsored a barbecue in
the Pecan Grove on the Woodlawn
Campus.
The universal Law School ga-
thering game of Bingo provided
some of the entertainment which
proved profitable to some of the
participants as well as the spon-
scrs. Bingo was followed by swim-
ming in the University pool which
was greatly enjoyed by the stu-
Gents and their dates and/or
wives.
Perhaps the highlight of the
afternoon was the ceremonious
"tapping of the keg", met with
hearty approval by all present.
Among the notable events was
the arrival of MR. REPUBLICAN,
Mr. McKenney's Bingo calling,
Father Blume's distribution of
stickers and last but not least,
the fact that expenses were met.
The thanks of the student body
are due to those who so ably as-
sisted in the preparation and car-
rying out of such an enjoyable
afternoon. May we see many more
such gatherings.
