A TONIC FOR COTTON
The end of another cotton producing
season has come to remind
Texans if any could be unmindful
of the fact that our great Industry
still needs all the help possible
to cure its alls
World demand for American
cotton remains low Foreign competition
Is strong Much of Texas
cotton Is unwanted because of its
poor quality which Is an encouraging
prospect
Cotton furnishes mora employment
to more people than any
other Industry in Texas although
oil has become our greatest industry
in value of product but it
Is doubtful If the price of oil af

Individually we Texans can do
very little toward restoring the

Is being asked to help such
as American Legion Service clubs

striving to assist In finding a way
to Increase the domestic consumption
of cotton more ways to encourage
people to use more cotton
at home more One Variety cotton
communities of better staple
cotton better ginning so as to get
uniform staple There are many
others but the main thing is for
every one to cooperate by buying
more cotton
