rI IF, HISTORY of the amazing progress of
industry in the Panhandle has, for a large part, been
written on business forms from Russell Stationery
Company.
Just thirteen years after the first records of Potter
County were filed, this firm was founded to supply
the steadily increasing needs of business throughout
this section. Royal typewriters, Shaw-Walker equip-
ment, Dictaphones, Mimeographs and good printing
from Russell's have their place in the development
of the Panhandle just as do the branding iron, oil
derrick and combine. Russell Stationery Company
counts among its friends and customers pioneer
merchants, ranchers, farmers and oil men .... men
and women who have made history during the past
fifty years—included, too, are newcomers who are to
make future history.
Although the office machines, equipment and
printing which bear the Russell brand are keyed to
the fast tempo of modern business, the folks at
Russell's still like to take time to greet old friends
and new ones... just as they always have since 1909.
