To the Editor of tke Dallas Kenld i
I am not alone lir in the wish to see
dlsoussion arise among the people on the
subject of roads and lanes.' It it an im-
portant matter and Is now deserving the
serious consideration of the people. .The
country ! mplilly fettling up wllh form-

shanghai fences; and (lie nll-prrrnding

roodi and psas ways. Let litis condition
of Ihlnga continue much longer and It
will he t matter of Impossibility for a
man to paia the blnctt waxy lands In

lanes are mode Ihey re too narrow for
nse In muddy times end may as well not
be at All as to be as they are.- The trou-
ble Is there nre not lanes enough and
what little they have nre too narrow.
The remedy ' I propose Is to compel the
opening of all section lines to a rensona-
bla end practicable width. Can this not
be done? I and mnny others would like
to know and If It can by whom is It to be
done 7 Please answer these two last que-
ries nnd make inch other remarks as you
please at we are anxious to see tho roads
opened and safe ond certnin pnssways
seoured through the wnxey lands. Noth-
