A CHANTERS' FROLIC-THE YEAR WAS 1929.
Many happy memories will be recalled during
the GTSW Chanters' Reunion at Homecoming '72
(November 10-11). All McM former students
who sang under the direction of Gypsy Ted
Sullivan Wylie from 1923-1950 are invited to a
very special reunion honoring Mrs. Wylie at
Homecoming '72. Members of this special
octet (plus accompanist) performing during the
1928-29 academic year (current home towns are
shown in parentheses) are from left: Grady
Morton (Coleman, TX), Luella Baldridge (Mrs.
John A. Higley, Fort Worth), Hubert Bell
(Haskell, TX), Asalie Key (Mrs. Noble H. Price,
Lamesa, TX), Beaulah Tracey (Mrs. Ray Horn,
Lufkin, TX), Alton Brookerson (Popular Bluff,
MO), Lola Lee Kendrick (Mrs. Ralph South,
Rotan, TX), Belmont Bishop (Seymour, TX),
Madge McCauley (Mrs. Homer B. Johnson,
