Xi Alpha Beta Chi
The Little Miss Roma and
Preteen Pageant was held on
Saturday, Feb. 28, with 26 young
girls participating in this
impressive event which featured the
"Anastasia" theme.
The winners were selected on
poise, beauty and attire, based on a
competitive point system judged by
five out-of-town judges and a
controller who secured the count of
the points given to each participant.
Every year, Xi Alpha Beta Chi's
members chose themes to
commemorate this event and also
dedicate their utmost efforts and
energy in this worthwhile project
which brings success, enthusiasm
and culture to our community in
Roma.
Annual events such as this helps
young girls grow in their self-
esteem development and enables
them to be exposed to a large
audience other than in a limited
environment. They also learn to be
congenial with their peers as they
are trained in poise and dancing
beforehand.
