letter to the Editor
Dear Mr. Trejo;
The purpose of this letter is to thank you for the article published
in last week s issue of the Rio Grande Herald under the heading of
• Point of interest", concerning the Rio Grande Citv High School
tennis team.
I am a tennis player and I know how the situation is. Every word
I t ead in the article is true and no one could have expressed it
better than you. To me, this article is healthful, because it is
something that for two years I've been trying to get off my chest.
1 hanks to you. things will get better. My only regret is that we
didn't do too good in the tournament in Falfurrias, but we have two
more tournaments to go.
I am sorry that your office got shot up, in Rio Grande City it is
hard for an honest person to make a living and do his work.
In closing this letter I want to thank you once again for initiating
<i good tennis team. Now it is up to the school board and us the
team.
Thank you,
s Jose Ramirez
