Housing Regulations Clarified
Dean of Student Personnel
Services, Cecil Ballow, today an-
nounced a clarification of hous-
ing regulations at Tarleton as
stated in the catalog. He stated
that This clarification of policy
was deemed necessary due to in-
sufficient income in the dormi-
tories this past year.'
Dean Ballow emphasized that
this was not a change in policy,
but that the policy had been re-
stated to eliminate unclear word-
ing. He pointed out that the
only change which has been
made is that sophomore women
will have to live in the dormitor-
ies until they are filled, then
they may live in Chateau.
The new wording of the hous-
ing requirements is stated below.
In summing up the situation,
Dean Ballow remarked, 'We feel
1 that if we strictly enforce this
policy, we will be able to fill the
"men's dorms with freshmen, and
the women's dorms with fresh-
' men and sophomores. This way,
