We took off Saturday and went

was served in the Windsor hotel.
Kathryn Duff, State Editor of

Judge Shadle said they had made
a thorough study of the county bon-

sure the issue could he financed with
out either raising taxes or valuations.
A proposed schedule has been
worked out whereby at the present

could be begun on it, in 1958 arid
make annual payments until the in-

When we were in the process or
printing part of this issue, a cog was
broken off of a gear, which as is
usually the case, is located in a
v^ry inconvenient place. After
working for what seemed like many
hours, wc got the broken part off,

We ran into Gus Smith, and he
decided wc just 'burnt it down late-

We brought it 'back and spent
quite some time hitching it back up
and after we got it all together, it
would not fit, and we had to re-
peat the proccss of taking it off, and
file it a bit, and then while doing
this we managed to let the whole
thing jump out of time, and that
took another hour getting it bark
together But after using just
six hours at the iob, we finally got
all back together and started it
.... and it really did run

The present court house and ja l
bonds of the county amount to
42,000. In 1937 it was 70,000 so
even with the 40,000 addtional it
would only be slightly higher than

still usable, or, that it should be
