New queen nominees lead active lives

Blakeley is very active in student
government on the HSU campus.
She was recently selected the new
Senior Class Treasurer and she is
an active Senior Class Con-
gressman. Barbara Faucett
Barbara Faucett is active both in
and out of school. She enjoys
such things as bowling singing
sharing with people and water ski-
ing. Faucetts life is heavily revolv-
ed around campus life. She is the
first Vice President of the Student
Barbara Faucett
Florida. In addition to serving the
university as a cheerleader she is
also a Congressmen-at-large on
the Hardin-Slmmons Student Con-
gress. The. finalist is a member of
Delta spclaPclub and serves on
three commutes for the school.
She Is. an active member of the
Athletic Committee International
Education Committee and the
Teacher Education Committee.
Linda Blakeley
Linda Blakeley an equally as ac-
tive girl is also involved in many
major areas of the university.
Blakeley who is from Fort Worth
Texas is a Special Education and

Physical Education is the major of
Jan Story who is also a finalist for
University Queen. Story who also
came to Hardin-Simmons from
Fort Worth is an member of Phi
Phi Phi.
Story's major interest deal with
the outdoors. She enjoys such
things as softball and jogging
although she admits she enjoys
sports in general.
Robbin Ribble
Robbin Ribble takes part in many
areas of student life at HSU yet
she finds time to enjoy such things
as sports and sewing while main-
taining a scholastic average that
has her well on her way to being an
honor graduate.
Ribble also finds time to serve
on three unlveristy committees.

The Banking and Finance major
Is from New Mexico and is a
member of Phi Phi Phi. This is the
second year the finalist has been
the sweetheart for Tau Alpha Phi
men's social club.
Although the selection process
for the University queen has been
completed the winner will no be
announced until November 6 when
her cornation takes place.
