IS. The test will not be administered
again until the fall semester of 1980.
The test is to check both physical and
speaking ability. Voice articulation
rate rhythm and hearing will constitute
the physical part of the test. The part of
the test dealing with speaking ability
will check message organization and de-
livery. Those students demonstrating defi-
ciencies in the physical abilities area
will be referred to a remedical program
and will be retested. Those students
scoring less than 30 or have speaking
abilities difficulties are to be given sug-
gestions for changes and many qualify
at a latter date either by obtaining the
required score when retested or by com-
pleting Speech 1301 and 1302.
Bridal Lines
On your wedding day when you vow to
be true to your husband 'and he to you you
might give a thought to marital loyalty as it
was expressed long ago in China.
Here at The Pheonix Collection our re-
search indicates that when a young man de-
cide to leave his native Chinese Village and
voyage to another part of the world it was
customary for him to marry first. However it
was not necessary for him to take his wife
along because she would always be the
only wife recognized for him by the village
elders. And even if he married again as
each child was born it would be registered
in the home village registry as an offspring
of the original marriage. Now wouldn't you
prefer to be a modern-day American bride?
