Four Bel-Hi Students Take Rice Math Course
Four Bellaire High School stu-
dents were among 25 students
from throughout the Houston
area to participate in a summer
mathematics course this summer
at Rice Institute.
The students are Marilyn
Bresky, Thomas Atkinson Jr.,
Benjamin Bossin and Kehneth
Carr.
Purpose of the course is to
stimulate interest of outstanding
students in mathematics by in-
tensive study of significant ideas
in recent and current Mathe-
matical thought, said Mrs. Ella
Porter, mathematics supervisor.
Juniors were chosen fpr the
course with the idea that they
will in turn stimulate the inter-
est of their fellow classmates
during the coming school term.

where she has attended camp
for the past month. This is Judy’s
third year at Camp Longhorn
and she is planning on being

Judy is a Jr. at Bellaire High
School and member of the Bel-
laire High School band.
