Editor Tribune : The statement
published in a number of county
papers last week to the effect
that Mr. T. N. Dunn was appoint-
ed postmaster at Corn Hiill under
Hayes' administration for 23
years, is an error, M. L. Hair,
now of Bartlott, was appointed
postmaster at Corn Hill in 1870
and served in that capacity until
1880, when he resigned and
moved to Bartlett. Unole Geo..
Woathorford Was then appointed
postmaster- and hold the office
for several years. C. J. Jackson
was then appointed and hold the
offiico for somo time, J, J.' Rich-
ardson succeeding Mr. Jaokson,
Mr. Dunn hoing appointed at

Telephone Line to Oorn Hill.
-The Bartlett-W.alburg Tele-
phone company will have a meet-
ing to-day for the purpose of con-
sidering the extension of their
line from Walburg to Corn Hill.
ThaTlribune hopes the movement
will materialize,- as i': will be a
mutual benefit. Bartlett appre-
ciates th Corn Hill trade and
will Sparc no painsfor any "enter-
prise which will convenience the
people of that section, or any sec-
tion of her great trade territory.
