Classical Department
A course leading to the degree, Bachelor of Arts (B. A.),
will be added as occasion demands.
Business Department
We can now give you superior advantages in a business
course. T. C. Whiteside, who has charge of this Department, is
a graduate of the Draughon Practical Business College, Nashville,
Tennessee, and since graduation has spent a number of
years in actual business and in teaching. He also stands in the
front ranks of the teachers of penmanship.
We are sure that our Business course is superior to that
offered by the Business Colleges. Here are some of the advantages
of our Course:
In the Business Colleges the boy or girl is turned loose to
roam the streets at pleasure. Not so with us.
All business students have free access to our Library and
to our Bible Classes.
Our school is out in the quiet residence part of th'e city
The teachers are all conscientious Christians.
A business course with us includes English, Grammar, Arithmetic,
Commercial Geography, and other studies essential to
success in a business life. Here is where our course so far excells
that of the Business College. Many graduates of the Business
Colleges find after it is too late that they have not sufficient
literary training to keep a position after one is secured. With
a good literary training such as we give with a business course,
there is no limit to the possibilities of your advancement.
Thorough course in penmanship will be taught by mail.
Terms made known on application.
