1.00PAYMENT OF ACCOUNTS
All accounts are due and payable in advance by the term on the
designated registration days.
Students who are recipients of scholarships from religious or fraternal
organizations, foundations, corporations, and individuals should arrange
with their donors to have a check for their account on hand at the time
of registration, or furnish verification of awards to the Student Financial
Aid Office.
Registration is not complete until accounts are satisfactorily arranged.
Students that owe the University at the end of any semester will not
receive their grades for that semester nor will they be allowed to register
for the next semester until their past obligations are paid in full.
Students will be charged interest on all sums of money owed to
Howard Payne University. The interest will be 1% per month, or the
maximum legal rate under law, whichever is lesser.
Arrangements for payment of expenses do not in any way change
the admission requirements which must be met before the student is
admitted.
REFUNDS:
Refunds of tuition will be considered in cases where students find
it necessary to withdraw from the university or drop a course prior to
the end of the fourth week of the regular semester. The amounts to be
refunded will be computed on a decreasing scale as follows:
Semester Summer
Prior to the end of the first week .-..-- -- 90% 80%
