Mayor John Brown pitched the
first ball of the season to Mike Cul
well of the Rotary team to get underway
the first Little League game
of the season Monday night in Tulia
Rotary downed Bobs Super Mar
ket 164 in the season opener
In the second game of the evening
John Deere licked Harman Toles

Johnny Goodivm was the first put
cher to stand on the pitchers mound
for the first game of the season
Pitching for Bobs for the first four
innings ho was relieved on the fifth
by David Nail

ed by Willie Jenkins of Rotary who
stole into home base after Donald

The game was tied 11 at the end
of the first inning

knocked tn nine points while Bobs
knocked in two runs
The sveond game ended in an 85
victory for John Deere over Harman
