The ACC Business Department recognizes
the need for professionally as well as academically
trained people both in its educational program
and in the business world. To this end, the
department has an array of academically-qualified
teachers, some of whom also hold professional
degrees including the Certified Public Accountant,
Chartered Life Underwriter, attorneyat-law,
as well as qualified personnel to give you
professional training in data processing, computer
programming, and systems design.
ACC business graduates are highly sought by
graduate schools of other colleges and universities.
Also, many national and international firms
as well as government agencies recruit heavily
on campus through the College's placement office
which, in turn, works very closely with the Business
Department.
The ACC business student is offered many
opportunities to seek practical experience through
the Business Administration Club. Also, work
experience through local businesses is available
to those desiring this experience.
The department graduates from 75 to 100
undergraduate and graduate students each year
with some 600 students majoring in business and
related fields.
