2321-2322 is required. If you
have had two years of high
school foreign language, and
make the required score on a
test in language, you may omit
college freshman language
courses.

Aesthetics 2 Art 3150, Music 3150. (Not

General Requirements for BSEd:
Same as for BA and BS except that major-minorrequirements and course requirements are as indicated
in the Education Department listing.
General Requirements for BS in Home Ec:
Same as for BA and BS degrees; course requirements
are as indicated in the Home Economics
Department listing.
General Requirements for BMuEd:
Same as for BA and BS degrees except that 137
hours are required. Course requirements are listed
in the Music Department listing.
General Requirements for BFA:
Bible, English, history, communication, and physical
education requirements are the same as for the
BA and BS degrees. The science requirement is 6
hours of biological or physical science, or both.
Language, aesthetics and math are not required.
Second Bachelor's Degree
You must complete at least 24 hours beyond
the requirements for the first degree and must
meet all specific requirements for the second
degree.
Honors
The following grade point scale will determine
the type of honor and recognition you
will receive at graduation and be so indicated
on your diploma:
3.8-summa cum laude (with highest honors)
3.6-magna cum laude (with high honors)
3.4-cum laude (with honors)
Dean's Honor Roll
You will be included on the Dean's Honor
Roll if you earn a 3.45 grade point average on
at least 12 hours during a semester.
Teacher Certificates
If you plan to teach in a public school system,
you must be certified by the state in which you
teach. The ACC teacher education program is
as adaptable as possible to requirements of most
states and it will fully prepare you for Texas
certification.
