Mere intellectual attainment is not the sole basis for graduation nor
should it be the largest factor. It is the purpose to recommend for graduation
from this institution only such young men and women as have
clean morals and are honest, trustworthy, and free from such bad habits
as: the use of intoxicants, gambling in any form, neglecting to settle all
obligations punctually and satisfactorily, or any other habits that the faculty
may specify as injurious and degrading to the individual and hurtful
to the College. Every candidate for graduation is required to make formal
application for graduation not later than October 1st of the year in
which he proposes to graduate.
