GENERAL INFORMATION
steam heat, running water in each room, two bath rooms on each
floor, with hot and cold water, and electric lights. Well furnished
throughout.
ZELLNER HALL.
This is a modern three-story brick building, first class in
every way. The rooms are large and well arranged. Each room
has two large windows and a good closet. Running water is in
each room, two bath rooms, with hot and cold water, on each
floor. It is heated with gas and is well furnished throughout.
This building is also used for girls.
MCDONALD HALL.
McDonald Hall is a three story brick building for men. It
has rooms for one hundred young men. It was erected in 1924
and has all of the modern conveniences, including natural gas,
running hot and cold water in each room, shower baths and
toilets on each floor, steel furniture, commodious clothes closets,
etc.
DINING HALL.
This is a modern stucco building equipped with the most
sanitary dining room and kitchen facilities. Meals are served
family style. The dining hall has capacity for three hundred.
THE GYMNASIUM.
The gymnasium was erected in January 1925. It is one of
the best in the state. It is a brick building and has the largest
size basket-ball court. The physical training classes and all
indoor athletic games are held here.
LABORATORY.
This is a new, substantial, frame building, well lighted, and
heated with gas, equipped with new, modern apparatus.
In addition to this, the basement of the old wing of the administration
building is equipped for physics, the basement of
the new, for college biology.
SHADY DELL.
This is the beautiful home occupied by the President, his
family and a few young men.17
