Publications.
THE DANIEL BAKER COLLEGIAN is published by a staff of editors
elected annually by the four societies of the College. This publication
is literary in character, and is the organ of the student body.
Every student is not only invited, but urged to contribute to it
frequently.
THE DANIEL BAKER COLLEGE BULLETIN is published by the Faculty
of tire College, an is a quarterly review of the life, work and
activities of the institution. It includes the catalog number each
year.
THE TRAIL is the College annual published by the Senior Class
each year. The first volume appeared in 1913. It is handsomely
illustrated and an artistic souvenir of College days.
Physical Training.
Believing that some form of physical training is necessary for
health the college will require at least two years of physical training
for graduation. We have efficient Directors of Athletics and
Physical Training. Students may substitute Athletics in its various
forms for this class work upon approval of the Faculty Committee
on Athletics. Students who are physically unable may present a
doctor's certificate and be excused by the faculty committee. This
is required, but it does not count as a credit course.
Class Oratory of Public Speaking.
The College requires for a degree and offers free of extra charge
a year's class work in Oratory or Public Speaking. We believe
that all students will be greatly benefited by such a course. This
course is required for a degree but it does not count as a credit
course.
General Expenses.
The College expenses will be found as moderate as the advantages
offered and the services given will permit.
The desire is to give the very best of accommodations and to
present only trained teachers of character and ability. We propose16
