DANIEL BAKER COLLEGE
to enter or, who leave before the year is out. The fee, less any
damages, is returnable Commencement Day. The rooms are supposed
to be occupied by two students and can only be occupied
by one ctudent when there is sufficient accommodation to justify
same. All rooms are provided with steam heat and lighted with
electric light. Simple furnishings, including beds, mattresses, pillows,
dresser, study table and chairs, together with large closets are
found in each room. Room rent includes fuel and lights and
the above furnishings, but not laundry. There are bath and toilet
rooms, with hot and cold water, on each floor. The building, including
ialls is heated by steam and lighted by electricity. Each
girl boarding in this building must provide herself with towels,
table mapkins and ring, pillow cases, two pairs of single sheets
bed-spreads and blankets, all plainly marked with her name or
initials. In addition, each girl is advised to bring a pair of curtains
and a couch cover.
For all of the above permanent equipment of the students' rooms,
together with the globe for electric light, the student is held responsible
and is charged for same on the books of the institution.
Furniture broken or missing and new electric light globes must
be furnished by the occuparns of the room at their own expense.
The reservation fee is held for all damage of property.
Rooms in the Dormitory may be occupied one day before the
Fall Term and until the morning after Commencement. Students
will occupy the room which they rent, and no change will be allowed
except with the permission of the matron to do so before
any change is made.
As in a large home, to prserve order and dignity certain rules
governing conduct and conducive to the best interest and development
of all will be strictly enforced. When willing and absolute
compliance with these rules can not be given, parents or guardians
will be notified and withdrawal from the Dormitory will be requestedReturn of Fees.
No part of student's fees or room rent is returnable on account
of withdrawal. No part of the student's tuition or table board is returnable
on account of withdrawal unless the reasons for such
withdrawal are providential, when one-half of the tuition for the18
