WOLTERS' ONLY WAC - Fort Wolters has perhaps the smallest WAC detachment
in the Army. Its one - and only - member is CPT Janeen C. Morel, shown here with
her husband, MAJ John E. Morelj an instructor at the U. S0 Army Primary Helicopter
School.

Troop Command Adjutant
Is Ft. Wolters' Only WAC
The old adage "It's a man's world"
certainly holds true for CPT Janeen C.
Morel.
She's the only member of the Women's
Army Corps at the U. S. Army Primary
Helicopter Center.
But this fact doesn't seem to bother
her. She was the only WAC in her last
assignment.
Captain Morel came to Fort Wolters
in early June. Her husband, an instruct-
or in the U. S. Army Primary Helicopter
School Flight Division, arrived here in
May.
The WAC captain, who is presently
assigned as adjutant of Troop Command,

Are you willing
to go as low as $1665.00
lor a new VW?
We don't sell status.
Just a car. One that gets about 29 mpg, averages
40,000 miles on a set of tires, and Hardly uses oil
between changes.
Of course, the fact that it's practical is no secret.
And everybody is going to know that you're saving
money. But that's the price you pay for Volkswagen.
