I am verv thankful to my many
friends in Brazos county who have
insisted on me becoming a candi-
date the coming primary and as
there seems to be an impression
among many that I am in the race
for a certain office I think it nee
esgary to correct erroneous reports.
I appreciate honors as highly as
anyone and ?feel confident that
were I to run for office I would be
turcetsful at the polls.
I could not afford to aceept an
office if tender! roe and allow my
bucineng to suffer.; so I will be
found out of politics and handling
real estate. Thanking my friends
again for their favors etc I am
