A. H. Turner one of Idalou's en-
terprising citizens has sold his farm
east of Idalou and bought a home in
that town. He has also purchased a
fine tract of land just north of the
town. Also Mr. and Mrs. Turner
are rejoicing over a fine young fel-
low who has come to abide for an in-
definite time with them.
Huden Smith formerly of this city
now a Texas Ranger spent some
time in thia city this week. Mr. Smith
I had business here and at Lorenzo.
He told something of his experien-
ces as a Lone Star Run ire r engaged
in border duty along with other ex-
citing experiences. He says he was
shot by outlaw Mexicans seven dif-
ferent times.
S. A. Sheppard and family of
Frownfield have moved to this city
and will reside in the C. C. Lane
home in the Southwest part of the
city.
Mrs. C. J. Margem of Post spent
some time in the city this week vis-
iting S. N. Vaughn and family. She
returned home Saturday.
