School Service Is Recognized
WINTER USHERED IN the Holiday Season and
with it the election of James Gorin, Karen
Loupe, Danny Bromley, and Mrs. Lorene Hutch-
ins as December citizens.
. " James played the Witch Boy in "Dark of the Moon" with sensi-
tivity and insight. Karen led the Hussars through a great year.
Danny's skill and agility won basketball games for TJ. Talent,
patience, understanding, and devotion to her work were
f qualities displayed by Mrs. Hutchins in her direction of the Fall
Production.
AMONG THE FIRST activities of the
New Year was the election of Lonnie
Ledet, Gail Gregg, Randy Cooper, and
Mr. Billy Tolar as January citizens.
Lonrnies devotion to activities and his spirit are
great assets to TJ. Gall displays tremendous spirit
and devotion in her job as Secretary of the Student
Body Congress and in all of her many activities.
Another of TJ's basketball greats, Randy, was hon-
ored for his game-winning prowess on the court.
Mr. Tolar, expert physics teacher and sponsor of
the Astronomy Club, was recognized for his
achievement and dedication in both areas of en-
e deavor.
FEBRUARY WAS CROWDED with
many events, activities, and elections,
not the least of which was the election
Bergman, and Mr. Kenneth Lee as Cit- U
izens of the Month for February.
Ben as a National Merit Finalist, president of Her-
aids, and member of the Maroon and Gold Band,
is a real asset to Thomas Jefferson. Mary, president s "
of Hussars, contributed much to TJ as editor of THE
PILOT. Basketball's still in the spotlight and Kim
Bergman was honored for his skill at the game. A
faculty favorite, Mr. Lee has given much of himself :4
and his talent to his job as mathematics teacher.103
