226TE ISSU .:.The Texas Department of Agriculture is proposing to adopt
rules relating to the Texas Seed Law. The rules propose to
regulate the seeds of certain undesirable plants and to
prescribe labeling requirements when seeds have been tre-
ated with chemicals or other substances. The rules took effect
on an emergency basis on May 25.
The Texas Education Agency is proposing a rule relating to the
composition and responsibilities of the Advisory Committee
on Conservation and Environmental Education. The committee
