You're It.
If you are sore
To the core,
.With aching bones,
And husky tones
When you speak,
And you'er weak
In the knees,
And you sneeze,
And often cough
Your head near off,
And you note
That your throat
Feels quite raw,
Aud your jaw
Feels as if
You'd got a biff,
And dull pains
Vex your brainB,
Then you've caught it
You have got it—
It's the grip.
If you feel
The' heat steal
O'er your frame
Like a flame
Till you burn
And you yearn
For chunks of ice
At any price,
Then like a flash
The shivers dash
From head to feet,
A chill complete,
And you shake,
And you quake,
And. there's a desire
For a fire,
And something hot
Right on the spot
To quickly drink^
And you think
Right there and theu
You will never be warm again
Then you have caught it—
You have got it—
It's the grip.
It's in the air„ •
It's everywhere;
The microbe of the grip
Is on another trip,
And up and down,
Through all the town,
By night ana day,
It seeks its prey.
And its the fad
•
If you are sad,
Or ever mad,
Or if you sneeze,
Or cough or wheeze,
Or feel so warm,
Or chills alarm,
To wear a look of dismay
And hoarsely say ;
"I've caugbt it,
I've got it-
It's the grip!"

Magnificent Spectacle.
People traveling to the Pan-
American Exposition from the
direction of Niagara Falls will get
their first view of the Electric
Tower from a distance of 12 or
more miles. From the river side
of the stream or electric cars, the
Electric Tower is seen looming
up in thfe southern sky high above
all other objects on the horizon.
As the tower nears completion,
the eyes of passengers on the
trains and trolleys feast upon its
magnificent height of 391 feet aud
obtain an impressive iutimation of
the mammoth proportions and
beauty on which the Exposition
is being built. The magnitude of
the Electric Tower and its grace-
ful lines cannot fail to impress all
with the conviction that when it is
illumined by the thousands of
lights given life by the transmit-
ted energy of the wonderful dyna-
mos of Niagara, it will be a truly
gorgeous spectacle, surpassing in
its royal beauty anything of the
kind ever erected by man. It
will delight every eye that sees it.
It will stir the hearts aud minds
of all with admiration for the
men that conceived it and carried
the plans to such glorious per-
fection. In every department the
Pan-American will portray the
progress of the Americas up to
the present time, and when people
view the electrical splender of the
Exposition they will feel satisfied
no matter what the century has iu
store iu the way of additional pro*
gress, to have lived in an age when
such results were possible of uc-
complishment.* In these rpsuli.
the old and young will find e
tion and entertainment, and theii
admiration of ifc ll, which the)
will express «>u (heir liomegoing,
will be simply lefiective of the
wondrous electric effects.
