Jump Rope Team
The Sweetwater Intermediate School
Jump Rope Team will be performing at
Howard College on Monday, Jan. 25.
Football Awards Banquet
The Sweetwater High School football
awards banquet will be held at 6:30
p.m. on Monday, Jan. 25, at Texas State
Technical College. Tickets may be pur-
chased at the SHS fieldhouse beginning
Monday, Jan. 11 through noon on Friday,
Jan. 22. The cost of the tickets will be
$15 each. All high school football players,
student trainers and cheerleaders meals
will be provided.

Evangelical Methodist
Youth Fundraiser
The Evangelical Methodist Youth
will have a fundraiser at Pizza Hut on
Tuesday, Jan. 26. The fundraiser will be
from 5:30-8:30 p.m.
Coliseum Board Meeting
The Nolan County Coliseum will have
a general board meeting at 5:30 p.m.
on Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2010, in the old
kitchen.
Wednesday, Jan. 27
Adult Literacy/ESL
The Adult Literacy/ESL class will meet
at the County-City Library at 10 a.m. on
Wednesday, Jan. 27. Instructors will help
you learn to read, improve your reading
skills, improve your English skills or help
you read to your children. Call 235-4978

Thursday, Jan. 28
4th of July Planning
The Roscoe 4th of July planning com-
mittee will be meeting at the Roscoe City
Hall, on Thursday, Jan. 28 at 7 p.m. The
meeting is open to the public and every-
one is welcome to come and share ideas.

Book Review Club
The Book Review Club of Sweetwater
will meet at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Jan.
28, in the Community Room of the
County-City Library with Carol Cain of
Sweetwater reviewing. Hostesses for the
meeting will be Carol Cain, Pat Diggs,
Robbie Barlow and Maty Lou McCoy.
All members are urged to be present and
bring a guest.
Masons
Sweetwater Masonic Lodge #571 has
called a meeting for Thursday, Jan. 28,
at 6:30 p.m. The meeting was called to
confer an EA Degree. Members are urged
to attend. Visitors are welcome.

Story Hour at the County-City Library
for parents and their children will be held
at 10:45 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 28. Dee
Ann Mulanax will lead the parents and

Christian humorist Dennis Swanberg
and Grammy-winning gospel record-
