CMS/JV Cats end seasan tonight
The 7th & 8th-grade and Junior Varsity Wildcats will close-out their 2007 season
tonight in West Texas. The 7th-grade Cats are 2-5 on the season and will kick-off at 5
p.m.. The 8th-grade Cats are currently 6-0-1 and can finish undefeated with a victory.
The JV Cats at 4-4-1 will kick-off after the 8th-grade game. #45
Austan English breaks bane in ankle
Oklahoma Sooner defensive end Auston English broke a nonweight-bearing bone in
his right ankle Saturday night versus Texas A&M. The Sooners defeated the Aggies
42-14 for their eight win of the season. English totaled 3 tackles and 1 sack before suf-
fering the injury. He is expected to miss at least one week and could return to the lineup
as early as November 17 versus Texas Tech in Lubbock. Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops
said English told him the ankle feels a lot better. "We're fairly optimistic it won't be too
long," Stoops said at his weekly press conference Tuesday. #45

Several Canadian Wildcat/Oklahoma Sooner fans will travel to Lubbock on Novem-
ber 17 when the Sooners battle the Texas Tech Red Raiders. Local fans are using this
day to support 2005 CHS graduate Auston English. English is the starting defensive
end of the 10th ranked Sooners. Tickets cost $65 each and Wildcat fans are encouraged
