Our National Defense Program is
getting under way and it is causing
our young people to not only think
about their patriotic duty but to
think of their self protection. The
younger boys and girls will be need-
ed in offices just as soon as they can
thoroughly train. The older ones, if
drafted will, if properly trained
for business, be used in the offices
of the War Department and in of-
ficers headquarters of the Army and
Navy. This to most young men is far
more satisfactory than having to go
out on the firing line to eat machine
gun bullets. Many of my young men
who had trained for business prior to
the World \*^ar came back thankful
they had attended Byrne College and
qualified themselves to do secretarial
and clerical work. It will require
thousands of young men and women
to train immediately in commercial
work to help round out our National
Preparedness Program, but regard-
less of this gigantic program, business
now is demanding more of our grad- '
uates than we are able to supply. We !
do not have a single young man or .
young woman who has recently grad- ]
uated on our employment files.
Under present conditions you can-
not make a mistake in attending
Byme College and School of Com-
merce and thoroughly qualifying for
a good position in business or with
the government in Civil Service or in
the new Defense Program.
Our College, in order to show its
patriotism is offering a more ex-
tended credit plan than usual to
those who are not in a position to

hti-Knock!
Every motorist knows that there are two
important ranges of acceleration where highest
anti-knock performance is needed. For example,
you need knockless power at 10 to 45 miles
per hour for acceleration in traRic and 45 to
90 miles per hour for passing other cars and
climbing hills. Some gasolines may give high
anti-knock in one range but not in the other.
But the new Sinclair H-C combines high anti-
hnocft per/ormunce in both ranges. With the
DouMe-Range anti-knock in H*C you also get
other remarkable qualities in performance. You
get quick starting - rapid pick-up - smooth
power — and long mileage.
Try a complete tankful of the new DouMe-
Range H-C in your car today. Your nearby
Sinclair dealer sells it at regular price. You will
find it adds to the pleasure of driving and helps
reduce motoring expense as well! Ask for the
new Sinclair H-C.
