Beware Of This Beetle
It's amazing how one tiny
insect can cause huge amounts
of damage. The Japanese gar-
den beetle, for instance, feeds
on over 250 different kinds of
plants. It can devastate an en-
tire lawn area, including flower-
ing plants, shrubbery and gar-
dens

To protect your plant
trees from the Japanese beetle,
use a product containing SKVIN
brand carbaryl insecticide, say
garden experts, This proven pest
fighter destroys over 500 other
insect species SHVIN is biode-
gradable and low in toxicity to
fish. In fact, certain formula-
tions are used to control pests
on poultry, pets and some spe-
cies of game birds

and a shot was fired by the man he

overpowered the would-be
kidnapper. This happened in the
parking lot."
Alvarez said, "When the others
saw a sizable crowd, they exited the
scene driving a Ford camper toward
Rio Grande City."

wanted some money They were
trying to kidnap him so they could
extort some money."

was an attempted kidnapping and
that shots had been fired."'
