his residence, and providing a penalty
therefor; making it a felony for a
habitual user of narcotic or dangerous
drugs to possess or carry a weapon,
described in Penal Code Article 483,
away from his residence, and provid-
ing a penalty therefor; making it a
felony to violate Penal Code Article
483 in a place where intoxicants are
sold for on-premises consumption, and
providing a penalty therefor; making
it a felony to use any weapon pro-
hibited by Article 483, or any fire-
arm, against a law enforcement of-
ficer in performance of his duty, and
providing a penalty therefor; making
a misdeameanor offense under Penal
Code Article 483, a lesser included of-
fense of any offense defined in this
Act; making exceptions applicable to
carrying prohibited weapons on or
about the person while using same
in sports activities or antique wea-
pons display and limiting these ex-
ceptions; making exception as to ad-
missibility of oral statements which
include admission or denial of posses-
sion or carrying prohibited weapons,
or any firearms; repealing all laws inconflict with this Act; providing for
invalidity of part of this Act; and
declaring an emergency.
