Wednesday afternoon a fine rain
fell all around on Waxahachie,
Onion and Chambers creek, around
Bradwell, Astonla, Avalon and

K. F. Butler, son of "Uncle

There ,as' a big time at all the
churches Sunday in Waxahachie as
a result of the Abe Mlulkey meeting.
The Methodist church took in 104
tiew members, Cumberland Presbyterian
19, Baptist 24, Christian 7,
Presbyterian 5, and the Lutheran 1.
One day the first of the week a
young fellow drove into Waxahachie
and put up his horse and buggy at
auction sale. The officers took his
rig off his hands and gave him
lodging at hotel de McCue. He gave
several different names. Sheriff
Coffey of Collin county called for
him Wednesday and said he wanted
the boy on a charge of swindling and
thought Sheriff Cabell of Dallas
county wanted him for horse theft.

The Chinese shake their own

The Chinese dress in white at
