GARNER, Marian Milam at 96,
in Glendale, native of Dallas, Texas
longtime Glendale resident. She was the
loving wife of the late A. Wilkins Garner
with whom she was active in Local and
National Camellia Societies.
Other activities included the Tuesday
Afternoon Club, Glendale Committee for the
Los Angeles Philharmonic and the Women's
Committee for the Glendale Symphony.She was the loving mother of Ann (John)
Rogers of Sebastopal, CA; grandmother of
Marilyn Rogers (Kevin) Killen, and John K.
Rogers III and great grandmother of Flynn
Rogers Killen, all of San Francisco.
The family requests that donations be made
to Descanso Gardens of Glendale College.
Private services will be in Greenwood

EDNA JOAN BRISTOL
Bristol, Edna Joan, born in Dallas, TX on
June 5, 1932 to Martha Irene Vick Schaller
and Henry Joseph Schaller, died peacefully
at home on Oct. 25, 2000, of cancer. Her
beloved husband of 32 years, "Pops" Roy J.
Bristol, was at her side. Eddie is survived by
her identical twin, Barbara Ann Ringlien of
Wilkesboro, North Carolina, and sister
Jeanne Hemer of Lansing, Michigan. Eddieis also survived by her 6 children; Doug,
Dianne, Steve, Marianne, Valier and
Roberta, as well as 11 grandchildren.
Visitation on Sunday, October 29 -8 pm at
Westminster Memorial Park. A memorial
services will be held on Monday, October
30, 2000 at 11 am also at Westminster

CARDELLA, Manuel Pete
Born July 12, 1917 in Dallas Texas. Passed
away March 13, 2001 raised in Lincoln
Heights.
He was married to Patrina Incavo (now
deceased) for 48 years. They raised their
three children in Temple City where Manuel
resided for fifty years.
Employed by LA Baking Co. for over 25
years, Manuel was an active parishioner at
St. Lukes Catholic and a member of the
Italian Catholic Federation. He lovedgardening and always, enjoyed a good game
of cards with friends.
Manuel is survived by Josephine Cardella,
his wife of 10 years; his children, Stephen
M. Cardella, Rozanne Cardella, Debra
Constantine and her husband John, with
twin granddaughters, Alexandra and Jonna.
A funeral mass will be held at St. Lukes in
Temple City on Sat., Mar 17, 2001 at 10:00
