Obituary - Departed this life on the 20th day of Jan last Charity Ann Clemants near Richland Stewart Co.
Ga. in the 71St year of her age. Mrs Clemants was born in Jones County Georgia December 27 1808 and
was married to Mr. Soloman Bridges who lived a few years and died leaving with her three small children.
On the 15th of March 1846 she was married to W.A. Clemants with whom she lived in peace and harmony
to the time of her death. In 1843 she joined the Baptist Church at Colly Springs and has lived a consistent
member to the time of bidding adieu to family and friends on Earth to join the Church above...she
passes away in the of faith leaving two sons two step sons, and two daughters as well as her
companion in trial to mourn their loss which was her eternal gain...Copied July 5th 1885 In Eufaula Ala. By
