Friday, November 30, will
be the last day to place orders
for the 1963 edition of the high
school yearbook, "Beargrass,"
Mrs. Maudallne Hutton, year-
book sponsor, warned this
week. The price of the annual
is $5 per copy. Orders may be
placed with Mrs. Hutton at the
high school, with Principal J.
W. Sutton at Baker school, or
with any member of the an-
nual staff . . . but November
30 is the final day.
This issue of The Record is
going to press a few hours
early on account of the
Thanksgiving Holiday ... and
will reach most local sub-
scribers on Wednesday after-
noon. The Record office, like
most other Canadian business
houses, will be closed on
Thursday. We wish you a
happy Thanksgiving . . . and
if you're travelling ... a safe
journey.
New arrivals in town: A
daughter, Sandra Leigh, born
November 15 to Mr. and Mrs.
BIIIy Schafer; a daughter.

This snowman (or woman, maybe) was
a little confused at being caught be-
tween Hallowe'en and Thanksgiving
with the fall cleaning not yet done. She
was composed of about half-snow and
half autumn leaves .. . . but there was
plenty of both in the editor's back yard
Saturday morning for the kids to create
this five-foot figure.
