Mrs. Nova Powledge honored
her daughter Margaret Ann at
her home Wednesday night
with a birthday party, with
guests from the seventh and
eighth grades. She was 13
years old. Refreshments of
whipped jello, cake and pop
were served to twelve guests.
D. L. Malin appeared on
the program at the House of
Delegates meeting at Amarillo
Thursday night. On Saturday
he made a business trip to
Plainview. He and Joe David
were overnight guests in the
Bert Jarrett home. Elizabeth
Malin, who is a student at
Canyon college, also came up
and visited her father and
brother.

Childress visited in the For-
ace Evans home Saturday.
Roy Morse and family and
Mr. and Mrs. K. E. Morse, ac-
companied by Mr. and Mrs.
Charley Morse of Oklahoma
City, spent Friday and Satur-
day in Dalhart with relatives.
Mr. and Mrs. K. E. Morse went
on to Oklahoma City Sunday
with the Charley Morses to
spend a week. They were all
dinner guests in the Roy Morse

Nancy Forsythe spent from
Thursday until Sunday at her
home in Graham with her par-
ents. Mr. and Mrs. Eldee For-
sythe. They brought her back
to school Sunday and spent
the night with Mr. and Mrs.
