John Ball in looking after the
big Canadian delegation.
The letter, from John S.
Kuykendall, livestock manag-
er of the Houston show, is
self-explanatory:
"Mr. Jackson, superintend-
ent of our swine show, advised
me that you two boys were a
great help to him doing odd
'lobs during the Swine Show,"
Kuykendall wrote. "Please ac-
cept this check as a token of

Canadian churches, under
sponsorship of the Ministerial
Council, will conduct a city-
wide religious census Sunday
afternoon.
All Canadian churches are
expected to participate, Rev.
Joe Vernon, pastor of the First
Baptist Church, reports.
Each church has been asked
to name a group of members
to assist in taking the census
Sunday afternoon. The work-
ers will meet at 1:30 o'clock
Sunday afternoon at the First
Baptist Church for a brief per-
iod of instruction, census cards
and materials will be issued
at that time, and workers will
be assigned to specific resi-
dential areas.
Efforts will be made to con-
tact every person in the com-
munity, Rev. Vernon said. For
those who expect to be out-of-
town Sunday afternoon, or for
any who may be missed by
the canvassers, the sample
census form printed here may
be filled out, clipped and
mailed to P. O. Box 717.
When the census canvass is
completed, all cards will be
worked and classified and
each church will be supplied
with the names of those per-
sons idicating membership in
or preference for that particu-
lar church.
RELIGIOUS CENSUS
If you are not contacted personally Sunday afternoon, fill out
this card and mail it to: Religious Census. Box 717, Canadian,
Texas. It will be referred to the church of your preference;
