A crowd of the Knox City
young people left early Sunday
morning to celebrate the Fourth
of July on the river at the place
known as Big Timber. Lunches
were carried and the day was
spent in inerry-iuaking. The
party consisted of Messrs Gonnd,
Tarply, Reeders, Atterbury, and
Wilson and Misses McLaius, Oan-
tley, Anderson, Fox, and Smith,
They were chaperoned by Mr.
and Mrs. Adams, All prrties
report a jolly time ami an excel-
lent outing,
Judge A. 0. Taekett, formerly
óf Knox Oity but now of King
County was in the city last Sat
urday.
R, H. McKee and wife left
Friday for Abilene. Mr. McKee
will be treated tyr appendicitis
W. M. Sandifer made a short
business trip to Benjamin Mon-
day.
Geo. McMillan made a trip to
Seymour the first of the week.
Mrs. Mitchell from McKinney
is . here visiting her sister, Miss
Amanda Kruger this week.
Mr. and Mrs. G. R. Couch
from Haskell spent several days
in our city last week.

trip to Benjamin last Thursday

J. R. Dorreh and children, who

the bedside of his brother at
Wichita Falls is home again.
