The attention of all persons concernid, resklentft of
of the citv of Gn-vesUin, is refered to the following
raguUationH rendered necessary by the approaching
unhealthy season: / .
I. That the owner or occupant of every house, yard,
stable, stall, or lot of ground Ivithin the inhabitated
parts of toe city, shall keep the same clean, and shall
not at any time Buffer kitchen stuff, oyster shflls, shav-
ing, dung, trash, or filthy matter of any kind, to remain
upon his lot, ground or preperty.
IT. That all persons tenants of houses, yards, lots or
ground fronting on any street, shall sweep, or cause to
tie swept, and to ciean, or oause to be cieaned) that
part of the side-walk that Ilea before their premises,
every dny before 10 o'clock in the mt raing.
III. That the owner or occupsto" of \#.-y house,
store, stable, or other tenement,,or any lot, yard or en-
closure, shall on Tuesday, Thursday ttnd Saturday in
each week, between the hours of 5 and 8 o'clock In the
morning, collect and deposit in front of their property,
and as nenr thereto as may be. in a tub, barrel or other
vessel, all trash, filth, shells, manure, or fmtrid or pu-
trescent matter that may have accunnilat^d.
The Provost Karslial will see that the foregoing regu-
lations are strictly enforced, and in case ofnon-cotnpli-
ance will promptly arrest and punisli the offending
party.

for any person to divest himself or herself of his

Gulf shore, within the limits of the city, at any

Whereas, continual complaint is being made of exor-
bitant charges and exastfon* by draymen in this city,
and it is considered advisable to publish sections 12,
13 and 14 of chapter 30 &f revised Code of Ordinances,
for tho information of the public:
Section 12. Carters, óraymen, Ac., Bhall not un
any pretext whatever, when unemployed, refuse w
transport merchandize and any other articles whatever,
on payment of the legal dues, under penalty of a fin*
of Five Hollars for each contravention.
Section 13. That each and every driver of a cart
