SEC. 2. The fact that there are no appropriated funds with
which to pay the deficiencies above enumerated, and that the
same are just and legal demands against the State, create an
emergency and an imperative public necessity that the Constitutional
Rule requiring bills to be read on three several days be
suspended, and the same is hereby suspended, and this Act shall
take effect and be in force from and after its passage, and it
is so enacted.

REPEALING ARTICLE 6818, REVISED CIVIL STATUTES
OF 1925.
H. B. No. 1.] CHAPTER 6.
An Act repealing Article 6818 of the Revised Civil Statutes of Texas
of 1925, and declaring an emergency.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Texas:
SECTION 1. That Article 6818 of the Revised Civil Statutes of
Texas of 1925 be, and the same is hereby in all things repealed.
SEC. 2. The fact that some sections of this Article do not conform
to an amendment to the Constitution recently adopted, and
it no longer being desirable to maintain this Statute upon the
books, creates an emergency and an imperative public necessity
that the Constitutional Rule requiring bills to be read on three
several days be suspended, and such rule is hereby suspended,
and that this Act take effect and be in force from and after its
passage, and it is so enacted.
