The coronation of the Queen of
the Court of Jewels and her court
will present a picture of glittering
splendor. Each Duchess is to repre-
sent a precious jewel and the costume
designs are unusually lovely and
magnificent. There will be a new
set of crown jewels for the crowning
of the queen.
Already sixteen prominent girls of
neighboring Texas towns have accept-
ed the invitation to be among the
out-of-town Ducheses in the court.
San Antonians who used to read
the tale of Ali Baba and the Forty
Thieves and wished they could dis-
cover a cave filled with hidden treas-
ure and revel in the shining glitter-
ing mass will see their wish come
true when the Court of Jewels be-
comes a fact and the living jewels
parade.
